Given outstanding pan Punjab participation for whole season and the honour of the prestigious award at an International operator’s conference titled, Species 2016 held at Lisbon, Portugal as the best strategic campaign, ‘Connect Net Champs Program’ became a huge success.
Connect Broadband powered by Hindustan Times and F – Secure kick started Connect Net Champs in September last year. Net Champs is open to school students from classes 6 to 9, includes an extensive one year outreach (September 2015 – August 2016) across six zones  (Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Patiala and Bathinda). The Program entered the school classrooms to impart training on internet etiquette, making it an ideal platform to provide technical know-how to children, parents and teachers. Connect Net Champs conducted a series of seminars in more than hundred Schools in Punjab followed by a thrilling Quiz contest for students. Four candidates from each School were shortlisted for the next round. More than fifty thousand students attended the seminars.

Following an intense outreach programme via seminar followed by quiz competition at a school level, Net Champs covered over 50000 students from more than 100 educational institutions across Tricity and Punjab. At the Grand Finale, over 24 students from 12 schools selected for finals competed for the prestigious ‘Net Champs’ title at St. Soldiers International School, Phase -7, Mohali which was packed with an excited audience of over 500 students, teachers and parents.

The winning students of Grand Finale will be awarded with exciting prizes like Laptops and Kindle E-readers.

CONNECT Net Champs is a program to engage children with the purpose of educating them on the nuances of the World Wide Web and how to utilize their potential with information available just a click away.  The program is structured in three very interesting tiers; First round is the school round, followed by the second round which is the city round and the third round is the Grand finale.  Empowers customers to manage their Data, payments, Plans seamlessly

Couples from diverse professions to rock the stage at Videocon Connect Super Jodi Grand Finale


Chandigarh, 1st July 2016
 :- After  more than two months of auditions held at multiple locations across Punjab, the top performing couples will be heading to the grand finale of ‘Videocon Connect Super Jodi season 4’ on July 02.  This year more than 5000 couples performed in Connect Super Jodi auditions across Punjab. The season has witnessed participation from professionals from all walks of life, Doctors, IT professionals, banking professionals, entrepreneurs, Interior designers etc.

One of the Jodi from Chandigarh is of Dr. Puneet Malik and his wife Cheena Malik. Puneet works as a neurosurgeon in PGI. Despite his busy schedule Puneet participated in auditions of Connect Super Jodi. Puneet says that preparing for finale has made him spend more time with his wife which otherwise would have been difficult.  

Another Jodi is of Sunil and Pooja. Sunil is a Software engineer by profession and has worked with top IT companies Tata Consultancy Services & Dell in India and abroad. Pooja has done PhD in Biotechnology and has served as a Scientist in USA for 8 years. They are now settled in Chandigarh as they wanted their kids to grow up in Indian culture and also wanted to do something for the society. 

Sumit and Shreya hail from Jalandhar. Both of them are doctors by profession. They say that Connect Super Jodi has strengthened their bond and it is because of their participation in Super Jodi that they are able to spend more time with each other. 

Another remarkable Jodi is that of Karan and Komal. Karan is an IT professional and his wife komal is a fitness instructor. Komal enjoys dancing. She made it to top 15 of DID super moms. Karan says Komal’s love for dance has also inspired him to participate in Connect Super Jodi. The couple believes that these types of platforms bring out the best among couples.

‘Videocon Connect Super Jodi 4’ stages City Finale in Bathinda


3 city couples make it to the Grand Finale


Bathinda, June 27, 2016: As ‘Videocon Connect Super Jodi Season 4’ inches closer to the Grand Finale, competition gets tougher. Couples across Punjab & Chandigarh gear up to put their best foot forward in the City Finale rounds. The Bhatinda City Finale round of ‘Videocon Connect Super Jodi 4’ was held at Tara automobiles, Bhatinda and witnessed as many as 20 couples compete on the city level for the glorious first 3 positions.

Gagan Kherwani, famous choreographer from Bhatinda adjudged the participants.


Darshan Singh and Karamjit Kaur, Davinder Singh and Gurpreet Kaur, Gaurav and Lovleen were among the couples selected for the next round. The winners received Mini Refrigerator, Toaster and other exciting gifts.

This year more than 5000 couples performed in Connect Super Jodi auditions across Punjab. The energy and enthusiasm amongst couples has increased tremendously. Audition Rounds started off in the month of April and were conducted in all the top notch malls of Punjab for eight consecutive weeks. The couples were adjudged on basis of their talent and compatibility. Three couples were selected from each audition round and they are now participating in the city finale rounds. Participants appreciated Connect Super Jodi’s unique concept and garnered a positive response.

Videocon Connect Super Jodi is one of the most spectacular contests ever staged by a corporate and a unique customer engagement initiative.
