Harley-Davidson® India’s mobile dealership – ‘Legend on Tour’ makes way for Chennai, Pondicherry and Vellore
* Demo rides available for Harley-Davidson 2016 motorcycles India line-up
Chennai, April 29, 2016: Unveiled at 4th India H.O.G. Rally and India Bike Week in February, 2016, Harley-Davidson’s first mobile dealership on wheels – the ‘Legend on Tour’ will arrive in Chennai starting April 30 and will be there till May 3, 2016. It will then travel to Pondicherry and Vellore on May 4, 2016 and May 5, 2016 respectively. This one-of-a-kind dealership, created at par with the Harley-Davidson dealership in terms of its look and feel has been designed by the world renowned Dilip Chhabria of DC Design.
‘Legend on Tour’ is a strategic step undertaken by the company to enable the dealers to reach newer prospects in the region.
It brings the brand’s rich heritage to the city where ever it goes. The experiential zone created features 8 motorcycles from the 2016 Harley-Davidson India fleet including the newly launched Harley-Davidson 1200 Custom which will be available for demo rides. It also feature genuine Harley-Davidson motorcycle parts and accessories along with merchandise. Amongst other things, enthusiasts can enjoy the first-hand experience of sitting atop a roaring Harley-Davidson motorcycle through the Harley-Davidson Jumpstart.

The Legend on Tour has been travelling in Maharashtra, Karnataka and made its way to the following cities in Tamil Nadu- Salem, Tirupur, Tiruchirappalli, Madurai and Tirunelveli. From Tamil Nadu, the dealership on wheels will travel to Kerala, and thereon steer to different parts of country -Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh.
