The Dadasaheb Palke Academy Awards India’s highest award in cinema which was celebrated on the occasion of Dadasaheb Phalke Jainty in Mumbai in the presences of renowned artist and celebrities from different music and cinema arena. Adding another feather to its cap radio station 93.5 Red FM RJ Pritam was honored with the award under the ‘Best Entertainer of The Year’ category. The award was given after considering Pritam contribution to both the radio and TV industries.
Known for being fun-spirited, large hearted RJ Pritam hosted the Gyarah Se Doh Bhabhi Ka Show at Red FM for the longest duration which was a total entertainment for all the bhabhis who were regular listeners of his show. Being a versatile RJ, Pritam has always been comfortable across various platforms be it radio or Television.
Speaking at the award ceremony RJ Pritam said “When I received a call from their team, I was taken by surprise. The realisation is yet to sink in. Some people feel that I have received this award too early, but they do not know about the years I have put in radio, I have always put my best into my work. But, it is people’s love that has kept me going. I just hope they continue loving me the way they have.”
He will next be seen in the Sunny Leone starrer ‘Yaaron Ki Baarat.’
