Bangalore, April 29, 2016: May Day is observed as a day of relaxation from the humdrum of a regular work routine. CREDAI-Bengaluru plans to commemorate the day in a special way, for all the labourers working on member projects across the city. CREDAI-Bengaluru has planned a day of fun and games for all labourers and their families at Mount Carmel Grounds in Vasanthnagar . A total of over 800 labourers are expected to be a part of this celebration.
This initiative, which is part of the CSR activities conducted by CREDAI on a regular basis will begin with a formal function and inauguration at 10.00 am. The gates to the venue will open an hour earlier to ensure that all participants are able to attend the formal function.
The day will be packed with several activities for all the labourers and will include games like running races, shot put and long jump. In fact, informal practices for the same are on at all project sites by the enthusiastic participants who are looking forward to this event. The activities for the day will be followed by lunch and a felicitation ceremony for the distribution of prizes.
“An integral cog in the machinery of the real estate development world are the labourers that work on every site. They are often forgotten in the enthusiasm to inaugurate a new home and move in. We believe that this one day of fun is a small thanks for all the work that they do, irrespective of seasons and hard working conditions, says Mr.Suresh Hari, Secretary, CREDAI Bengaluru.
