Bangalore, April 7, 2017: Myntra announces the launch of the country’s first high fashion event online, Myntra’s Big Fashion Gig .The three day event kicks off at 12 am on April 8 and promises three days of unique fashion experiences, live fashion conversations with celebs, exclusive looks put together by Bollywood’s style icons and much more from the best of brands, style icons, designers and fashionistas.

The big draws at the event are Hrithik Roshan sharing his essentials for fitness and fashion and Deepika Padukone sharing her summer styling secrets with hand-picked looks available exclusively for the three days.

Myntra has collaborated with over ten celebrities from Bollywood, sports and fashion to share their tips and tricks through various gigs. Lasting three hours each, the gigs are intended to bring fans close to their favorite celebrities and allow them a firsthand feel, from the harbingers of fashion themselves; Be it Girls Night Out with Anusha Dandekar- every girl’s fashion BFF, Motorcycle Diaries by Kunal Kapoor– giving the biker attitude a stylish twist, Gear up with M.S Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh and Mahesh Bhupathi, Summer Seduction with Rhea Chakraborty, Men 2.0 with Rohit Khandelwal and Fashion Beat Box with Saba Azad.

The first edition of BFG will witness the participation of 1500 domestic and international brands, with a collection over3 lakh products and styles. An unprecedented 35 brands are scheduled to be launched on Myntra’s platform during the event with over 25 international brands, whose upcoming spring summer collection will be available during the three day period. Leading international fashion brands such as Dorothy Perkins, Next, Aeropostale, Forever 21 Men, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Corelle and Howards, among others will now be available on Myntra, making it- the go-to destination for the fashion forward.  The collection will also feature buzz worthy products which includes limited edition products such as watches from Versace, Raymond Weil and Apple;  bags from Kipling, helmets from Royal Enfield,  sports shoes from Adidas, Puma, Nike and Supra, jewellery from Bro Code and Suhani Pittie among others. Myntra will also showcase exclusive collections from brands including the Levi's vintage collection, Ishfahan collection from W, Tommy Hilfiger Nadal collection, Mini cooper watch collection and Roadster’s official Fast and Furious 8 collection.

A special segment at the event will feature live auctions of designer wear from Deepika’s closet, autographed denims from Hrithik and autographed merchandise from Yuvraj Singh, the proceeds from the auction will go to a cause picked by each celebrity.

The Big Fashion Gig is led by fashion, brands, styles, designs and trends, and is a move away from the traditional discount format. Myntra well set on its path to growth and profitability with a strengthened leadership team



Bengaluru, February 9, 2017: Myntra today announced that it has witnessed a 100% yoy growth in the month of January with the highest ever revenues of over Rs 850 crores in a particular month. Its extensive selection, unique brand partnerships and the recent acquisition of Jabong have helped establish the company as the industry leader across technology, fashion and performance. Gunjan Soni will head the Jabong business and will be responsible for driving it operationally through its next phase of growth. Gunjan has played a key role in firmly positioning brand Myntra as the leading destination for shopping fashion and lifestyle online. She is credited for growing the international brands business with 10+ marquee brand additions last year. Listed among the 30 fastest growing women leaders in business by Spencer Stuart-Economic Times, she was previously Partner at McKinsey & Company and Vice President at media conglomerate Star India.  In her new role she will focus on setting the strategic direction for Jabong and drive growth and profitability for the business.

Naresh Krishnaswamy has been with Myntra since 2012 and heads growth and revenue. He has been elevated to the senior management team at Myntra and will continue to be responsible for the entire sales organization and key initiatives to drive growth. Naresh joined as a Business Analyst and has grown through the ranks to his current position in the management team.  In his 5 years with Myntra, he has played a key role in growing the business and devising innovative offerings such as major sale events, price reveal and gamification to drive traffic to the platform. Naresh founded the sales team in 2012 and has grown it from a small team of four people to a full-fledged department in Myntra. Prior to joining Myntra, Naresh was an Investment banker at UBS.

Manpreet Ratia joined us last year as the Chief People Officer and Head for New initiatives and will take charge of Supply Chain and Consumer Experience.  In his new role, Manpreet will be focused on ensuring our supply chain and fulfillment operating models are flexible and agile to meet existing and future customer demands by leveraging technology for breakthrough innovation. Manpreet comes with over 20 years of experience in the financial services and ecommerce industry.  Prior to joining Myntra, he was the Director Operations for Amazon India and before that he was the Chief Operating Officer for Citibank’s Asia Pacific Transaction Banking business in Hong Kong. He takes over this role from Ashutosh Lawania who cofounded Myntra in 2007 and has been responsible for outperforming our fulfillment plans and reducing delivery times.  Ashutosh is moving on to start his new venture.

Myntra’s EORS Price Reveal – 1.5 million wish lists created with products worth Rs 7000 Crore (MRP value)


-      Reveals prices of 3.5 lakh  products and observes a no sale day on January 2nd
-      Sports category dominates wish list of 36% of shoppers eagerly awaiting the opening of sale

Bangalore, January 5, 2016: Offering a preview of the largest fashion sale event- EORS, allows Myntra to spot the fashion aspirations of hundreds of thousands of people across the country. Shoppers were allowed to preview the current edition of the sale slated to be held between 3rd and 5th January on the 1st of January.

In addition to the preview, a price reveal between 7 pm and midnight, called upon shoppers to shortlist picks and put up wish lists to stand a chance to  win VIP access to the sale, a few hours before opening at 12 am on January 3rd. A quick look reveals that the wish lists of 36% of the people are loaded with sportswear, sports shoes and accessories pertaining to fitness. While men preferred to bag more of Tshirts, Casual Shoes, Shirts and Sports Shoes, women preferred Tops, Kurtas and Dresses. A total of 1 crore products worth Rs 7000 Crore(MRP value)  have been wish listed by 1.5 million people as of 6:30 pm today.

Myntra’s CEO Ananth Narayanan said, “The concept of preview and price reveal before a sale, allows for an incredible fashion shopping experience. It is part of our efforts to make it more exciting and engaging for our customers and we continue to develop and innovate on this front. We have received a great response to the preview of the 5thedition of Myntra’s EORS, with 1.5 million wish lists created as of 6:30 pm today and an additional 1.5 million apps downloads, which is a 30% growth over the previous edition.”

EORS is known for innovation that has introduced several firsts in the industry with each passing season. The concept of previewing the sale during the no-sale day period, a day before the sale was first introduced in the last edition of EORS in July and led to a rousing cheer among shoppers. Taking this concept a step further during the current edition, Myntra is allowing shoppers the opportunity to be among a privileged few who can begin shopping, a few hours before it opens its doors to the nation. In order to be chosen for the same, shoppers had to score points by playing a game on the app and create a wish list on the day of preview. This move has led to the platform witnessing unprecedented traffic even on a no sale day with over 8 lakh VIP slots allotted so far for EORS.
Also, for the first time, customers have been offered the chance to preview specific brands in advance and benefit from access to wish lists created by celebrities such as Salman KhanVirat KohliDeepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan to discard any doubts about trends or fashion.

Built around the ethos of live, dare and inspire, the brand is rooted in Yuvraj’s personal journey with YouWeCan – an NGO that he set up for cancer patients and survivors. The royalties from the sale products will go to the NGO with the objective of making it self-sustaining. 

YWC will be available in two distinct product lines - (i) The Gold Line, and (ii) The Core Line. The Gold Line features a range designed and curated by celebrated designers, Shantanu & Nikhil. The Core Line has been conceptualized around the lifestyle of an active go-getter and seamlessly integrates every day comfort and an athletic lifestyle with trendy fashion. The range will be manufactured by ‘Suditi Industries, who hold the distribution rights for YWC and have partnered with Myntra for exclusive online retail distribution. The collection comprises of fashionable multitudes for men, women and kids of age 4 to 14 years. Deepika Padukone and Myntra champion self-belief in their new brand campaign for All About You


-          Campaign emphasizes the brand’s ‘You are your biggest strength’ philosophy

Bangalore, September 30, 2016: Bollywood actor and fashion icon Deepika Padukone’s fashion brand for women, ‘All about you’ in association with Myntra today launched its first brand campaign highlighting its core philosophy. Centered on the theme – ‘You are your biggest strength’ and can conquer anything when ‘you are with you’, it celebrates an individual’s personal strength as she takes on personal and professional challenges in life, devoid of all external influences.

The words- ‘feminine’, ‘romantic’ and ‘carefree’ encapsulates the essence of ‘All About You’ and is inspired by the style of Deepika Padukone and celebrates the modern femininity of Indian women. The new campaign illustrates how one can conquer any predicament in life when “you are with you.” The TVC takes you through the lives of three young women who take on professional and personal situations with an unconventional spirit of inner strength. Battling uncertainty and fear at the beginning, each of them take a moment to be on their own and eventually gain strength from within to overcome all external odds.


The commercial:
The TVC begins with Deepika herself, who is seen in a contemplative mood just minutes before delivering a talk. She takes a pause to believe in herself, leaves out the script and confidently walks to the stage and delivers her speech from heart. The second story is about a guitarist who is preparing for her first music class as a teacher and is seen preparing for her big moment across the streets of Kolkata, just before opening the door to her classroom, she waits a second to be herself and goes on to take a wonderful class, conquering her students’ hearts on the very first day. The third story is of a young girl in Goa, who is in a happy nervous state, preparing and contemplating for a big moment in her personal life, we see her going through ferry and then she meets the guy, she takes a moment to just believe in herself again and proposes the guy. All the three stories are interwoven together to form the beautiful narrative.

The film is directed by Amit Sharma, and the soulful music composed by Abhishek Arora weaves together the three beautiful stories with the lyrics aptly complementing the theme of the ad, especially the lines, “tere saath hai tu.”

Company expects 5x sales during this period
