Massive art installation depicting “Wheels of Change” draws large crowds at Inorbit Mall, Vashi

Vashi, 27 January, 2017: The shopping hub of Vashi, Inorbit malls celebrated the 68th Republic Day in a grand way. The mall echoed with patriotic fervor with majestic art installation based on the theme “Wheels of Change”. The key highlight was a 50ft x 40ft pyramid structure made of wheels that is not just a décor element but an engineering marvel that depicted the free spirited Navi Mumbai – the well planned green satellite city with it wide roads, jogging and Cycling tracks that play hosts to the sporty culture of Navi Mumbai.

This one of its kind installation is one of the largest installation with Wheels as a material. The installation stands tall on a self-balanced structure with 281 wheels lit in Indian tricolor.  Based on this theme there were other quirky installations put up at various locations at the mall. The mall has an extended celebration of the Republic Day till 31st January 2017. Those who have missed catching a glimpse of the wonderful installations, can still drop in to the mall to experience the grandeur.

That’s not all the audience enjoyed beautiful shadow act on ‘Monuments of India’, ‘Jungle Book enacted’ and more by the popular and very talented Silhouette Squad - the finalist of ‘Entertainment ke liye kuch bhi karaga’ and the finalists of ‘India’s got talent’. These entertainers performed on shadow acts giving the audience an experience of a walkthrough on Indian Culture, life of the Indian soldiers and exclusive act for kids.

The mall also opened its doors to a live performance by artists from an NGO by the name of KARMYO. The artists created exceptional paintings to create social awareness. IN addition to this, Inorbit also hosted an Art Exhibition with Khulaa Aasman – an NGO that works towards betterment of underdeveloped shelters and female jails. The exhibited paintings were the ones created by the female prisoners. For those who missed out on the action, don’t worry, the art exhibition and the shadow act by Silhouette Squad performances can be witnessed again on 29th January 2017 between 5pm to 7pm as a part of weekend celebration.

Mumbai, 19 December, 2016: Christmas celebrations has arrived early at Inorbit Malls! Last weekend Inorbit mall Malad and Vashi witnessed a lot of fun, drama and entertainment at the mega opening of the much-awaited International Clown Festival. Kids favorite clown Martin, also known as Flubber, along with other clowning talent from other countries swept the audience off the floor with some rib tickling performances. Not only kids but adults too enjoyed various acts of juggling, unicycling and acts that tickled the funny bones. The kids not only watched the performances but clicked pictures with their favorite clowns. Apart from performances there were also workshops on crafting balloon art, face painting and juggling. 

The International Clown festival is a 10 day extravaganza which Inorbit mall will be hosting in Malad, Vashi, Bangalore, Vadodara, and Hyderabad. The ongoing clown festival will go on till 25th of December. You visit your nearest Inorbit malls to watch live clowning acts and also participate in engaging workshops. After spectacular performances in Malad and Vashi, Martin and his team of International Clowns will be performing for 2 days at Vadodara, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
