A Conceptualized afternoon “The Star of the Millennium” was hosted by Anjanna Kuthiala to celebrate the success of Shah Rukh Khan, an artistic retrospective & a poem of art in cinema.

The high powered panelists like Padamshri Kathak Guru Shovana Narayan, Director of Arts, British Council India Vivek Mansukhani, Columnist Shubhra Gupta, Actor Abhinav Chaturvedi, Founder of Marwah Studios Sandeep Marwah and Urvashi Mittal shared their perspective on the theme of the evening and made it lively discussion about Shah Rukh Khan.

Some of the guests who were present at the event were Ratan Kaul, Designer Preeti Ghai,Entrepreneur Rita Gangwani, Golfer Neelam Pratap Rudy, Kathak Guru Shovana Narayan, Rama Pandey, Kuchpudi Dancer Kaushalya Reddy to name a few.

It was a mesmerizing experience to see art, fashion, beauty, glamour along with Anjanna’s artwork of the Superstar on the same stage. Shah Rukh Khan’s leading heroines, represented by beautiful ladies, each of whom is herself a star walked the ramp. Designer Rosy Ahluwalia created the apparel and Aashmeen Munjaal's Star Academy did the hair and makeup.

The King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan turned showstopper for designer Archana Kochhar to support her social endeavor of raising funds for 100 pediatric heart surgeries at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. DG Gopalji Mandhana, DS Balmohan Rasiwasia and President of Rotary Club of Mumbai Divas Suman Gupta curated the beautiful evening which unfurled with Designer Archana Kochhar showcasing her five marvelous collection sheathed by sizzling models. Each collection was presented with a spectacular dance performance be it ballet or aerial dance. The entire show was a visual treat for the spectators. Actress Alia Bhat was also present to support this noble cause of Archana Kochhar. The presence of Dear Zindagi duo Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt helped give Zindagi to 100 kids.

The audience sitting in theatres in the selected 10 cities could see and interact with the actor himself. With King Khan live on screen in virtually every big city, all eyes were locked on the event. Bangalore, December 6th, 2016: Dabur Red Paste presents Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards 2016 powered by Lifebuoy and Choki Choki - India’s only award show by the kids, for the kids and of the kids, honored the best in Entertainment across film and television. The gala evening took place on December 5th, 2016 at Reliance Studios, Filmcity Mumbai. The awards saw Bollywood and Television greats like the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Tiger Shroff, Leander Peas, Mouni Roy amongst others walk the much talked about ‘Orange Carpet’. It was an evening that captivated the guests through phenomenal acts and memorable moments.

The Kids Choice Award is the only Awards Show in the country that has kids decide on who would win the coveted orange “Nickelodeon Blimp”. The Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan won the Kids’ Ikon of the Year  award. Sultan won in the Best Film category with Salman also winning the Best Actor (Male) Award. Deepika Padukone won the coveted Best Actress (Female) award and Kala Chashma, the song that had the entire country grooving to its tunes was voted as the Best Song by kids.  The much adored Tiger Shroff was voted by kids as The Dancing Star of the year and Varun Dhawan won the Best Entertainer of the Year award. Varun and Alia together also won the Kamaal Ki Jodi Award. Motu Patlu received maximum votes and was declared the Best Show on a Kids Channel in the country with Motu winning the  Best Indian Cartoon Character of the year award. 

The most memorable moments that made the Kid’s Choice Awards 2016 an affair to remember were Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Manish Paul and Rithvik Dhanjani turning green on being slimed by kids. The entertainment scaled new highs with Shah Rukh Khan also being slimed green.  The ‘Green Slime Mania’ is a tradition that is followed across the globe for Kid’s Choice Awards as a mark of honor where the biggest and hottest International celebrities like Justin Bieber, Katty Perry, Adam Sandler and more have been slimed. The last edition of Kids’ Choice Awards saw Bollywood’s Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and Superstar Hrithik Roshan get slimed by the kids. This edition once again saw children come together to slime Shahrukh Khan along with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. The duo sportingly enjoyed the moment and celebrated with children, while being Slimed Green.

However, when the entire country is queuing up at Banks and ATMs to withdraw or deposit cash for their daily basic needs are they actually planning to watch a movie without paying in Cash for this week’s release Kahaani 2 ? Bangalore, November 11, 2016: Royal Stag Mega Music today unveiled Samar Khan’s much awaited book on the king of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic journey and his life in the film industry. Aptly titled ‘25 years of a Life’, the book captures interesting incidents and anecdotes from King Khan’s successful journey in the industry through the eyes of the directors he has worked with. From Aditya Chopra’s ‘Raj’ who became the King of Romance with Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge to Farhan Akhtar’s suave and discerning ‘Don’, this book captures myriad hues of Shah Rukh Khan’s inspiring journey in Indian cinema. Presented by Royal Stag, Samar Khan’s book includes 30 chapters and each one of them is a director’s take on a particular character created by them and portrayed by SRK. 

The book was launched by Shah Rukh Khan at an exclusive high profile event held in Mumbai. Popular names from B-town including Abbas Mustan, Kundan Shah, Anubhav Sinha and Piyush Pandey, amongst others graced the occasion. 

Expressing his gratitude, Shah Rukh Khan said, “25 years in the film industry was a big dream for a boy who came from Delhi all those years ago. Just after PM Modi's speech and announcement to demonetize Rs 500 & Rs 1000 currency notes, everyone wondered & speculated, especially cinema addicts were keen to analyze how the above watershed decision would impact the cinema business (box-office collections).

While some filmmakers decided to stick with the planned release date (ROCK ON 2) and didn’t budge, some others went ahead and shifted their release. Goutam Jain, producer of SAANSEIN decided to push the release date of the film. The makers postponed the film with PM Narendra Modi’s announcement as it will be difficult for people to prioritize a film over other basic necessities. Though the decision came as a shocker, it seems in a couple of weeks or so people will get accustomed to this radical change in the system. 

SAANSEIN – The Last Breath, which was supposed to release this Friday (11th Nov) along with ROCK ON 2, has pushed its release date to 25th of November and it will now be releasing with Gauri Shinde's DEAR ZINDAGI staring Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt. Goutam Jain, producer of SAANSEIN, stated, "After an internal meeting with the team and with respect to Modijis decision, we decided to push the release of the film. Now we are releasing the film on 25th November with DEAR ZINDAGI."

SAANSEIN is a contemporary horror film that ingeniously weaves classic techniques with a modern twist. The film has been shot in (probably) one of the most haunted places of Mauritius, that promises to give the audience a spine chilling experience. 

Starring Rajniesh Duggall, Sonarika Bhadoria along with Hiten Tejwani, Neetha Shetty, Vishal Malhotra, Amir Dalvi, SAANSEIN is directed by Rajiv S Ruia. The music is composed by Vivek Kar and lyrics penned by Kumaar. SAANSEIN is produced by Goutam Jain and Vivek Agarwal under the banner GPA Productions.

 Microsoft India has launched a new digital content creation initiative titled ‘Beneath the Surface’ is a digital show hosted by popular film journalist and critic Anupama Chopra.
