Kokuyo Camlin & KidZania unveil co-branded products


Mumbai, 26th December 2016: Kokuyo Camlin has joined hands with KidZania , a global indoor theme park, to unveil two co-branded products in the writing and colouring category. The products include a Writing Kit and a Colouring Kit. These were unveiled at a function at KidZania, RCity Mall, Mumbai.

The ‘Writing Kit’ comprises mechanical pencils, lead tubes and a notebook set - a perfect combination to suit one’s writing needs. The ‘Colouring Kit’ is a complete fantasy for little ones who love colouring. It comprises of oil pastels, Artica Plastic Crayons, Brush Pens and Premium Colour pencils. Both the kits are priced at Rs 300/- each and are available at the Camlin Art and Craft studio, KidZania and across all retail outlets in Delhi and Mumbai. There is also a KidZania discount coupon available in the kit of up to Rs 210/- valid till June 2017 redeemable at the Delhi NCR or Mumbai location.

Kokuyo Camlin launches Art & Craft Studio at KidZania Delhi NCR


Delhi/NCR, 12th September 2016: After successfully launching its first Camlin Art & Craft Studio at KidZania in Mumbai, and receiving overwhelming response from the children there, Kokuyo Camlin has decided to recreate the same experience for the children around Delhi and the NCR by launching the second Camlin Art & Craft and Painting Studio at KidZania at Noida. Actress Divya Seth inaugurated the Camlin Studio.



School children from Delhi and NCR can experience a first-of-its-kind Studio which aims to introduce these children to the beautiful world of colours and stationery set in the spectacular world of KidZania - a global indoor theme park for families that aspires to educate the kids through real-life role playing activities.

The children from Delhi and the NCR regions attending the studio will get an opportunity to learn the nuances of art and craftwork through a wide range of vibrant Kokuyo Camlin products and trained by specialized educators. Kids between the age of 4 and 14 years can attend the Camlin Art & Craft Studio. Kokuyo Camlin in association with KidZania will help the children in unleashing the artist in them and at the same time inculcate skills, values and knowledge associated with art and craft.


Speaking on the occasion, Saumitra Prasad, Chief Marketing Officer, Kokuyo Camlin Ltd, said, “Seeing the positive response we received in Mumbai; we decided that the same can be replicated for the children at KidZania in Delhi NCR. The studio has been created to instill love for colour and craftwork in children. Our aim is to encourage children to harness their creativity and love for art at a very early age. We hope that we will continue to instill the importance of art among the children and make learning fun which is the philosophy of Kokuyo Camlin.”

The studio offers an interesting mix of activities like cloth bags painting, designing and personalizing notebook covers and creating wall hangings using geometric figures. For children who love craftwork, there are activities like mask and finger puppet making, drawing bird and animal designs that can be pasted onto popsicles.

All in All, it is a great opportunity and a stepping stone for kids to find out if they have the potential and interest in pursuing art and craft and possibly making a career out of it.

KidZania Delhi NCR and Shah Rukh Khan announce a May 2016 opening

Delhi, 29th January, 2016: In a formal announcement today, KidZania, an edutainment theme park with 21 operational centers across 18 countries has announced that its Delhi NCR project located at the Entertainment City, Noida will be open to public in May 2016. This will be the chain’s second facility in India, with Mumbai having been the first to open in the country in 2013. KidZania Delhi NCR will see an investment of approximately Rs. 100 crore for its outlet in the national capital region.


Imagination Edutainment Pvt. Ltd. (IEIPL) has the rights to set up KidZania centers across India. IEIPL is jointly owned by Singapore-based KidZ Inc., and actor Shah Rukh Khan.




KidZania Delhi NCR is a standalone structure spanning 96,000 sq. ft across 3 floors. It will emulate the workings of a real city but built to scale for children with paved roads, battery-operated vehicles, buildings, a functioning economy and its own currency. The center also has a fuselage of a real Airbus A320-200 protruding out of the façade of the building. Kids get to role-play pilots and learn how to fly on flight simulators placed inside the plane.




KidZania Delhi NCR will educate children through the 90+ role-playing activities based on replicas of real-world industries and services including entertainment, airline, automobile, retail, restaurants, factories and other private and public services. Children can take on various roles including that of a pilot, surgeon, detective, chef, candy-maker, fireman, television producer, radio jockey, mechanic and others. These activities have been designed by educators to help develop psychomotor, cognitive and social skills amongst children.




The press conference was hosted by kids in role-play – and to commemorate the occasion they hoisted the KidZania Flag with Shah Rukh Khan.




Mr. Shah Rukh Khan, one of the shareholders of KidZania India further commented, “I am extremely excited about KidZania Delhi NCR. This will be a larger project than our first centre in Mumbai. I am passionate about my association with KidZania because as a father I understand the importance of empowering children at a young age to be able to manage their world better, and as an actor the power of making someone happy by entertaining them. KidZania brings fun and learning together; as India is a country of young people what better way to educate them to be good citizens.”

January 25, 2016 - Mumbai: As part of KidZania's Republic Week activities, this Saturday, 23rd January, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 7, Mulund - Dr. V.M. Rathod led a WorkZhop at KidZania Mumbai on Child Safety. The activity included an interaction with the children and parents present at KidZania. Dr. Rathod started the session with the two interactive videos on child safety, and the differentiation between good and bad touch. After this Dr. Rathod opened up the discussion to a question and answer session for the children and parents present.



Dr. Rathod reiterated the importance of being aware of their surroundings, knowing what kind of interaction is acceptable, and knowing which places they can look to for shelter. The session also provided children with a refresher on what they could do should they find themselves in a tricky situation. The informative session ended with heartfelt thanks from children and parents alike.
