Dubai casts spell in Mumbai Five-day Dubai Festival kick-starts at BKC

Mumbai, April 28: The five-day Festival, showcasing the colours, contours and culture and business opportunities of Dubai, kicked off at MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) here on April 27.

The inaugural day was marked by colourful events and cultural programmes that captured the feel and pulse of the world-class city of Dubai. Belly dancers gyrated to the tune of Arabic numbers enthralling the visitors, many of whom also took to the desert safari, happening first time in the City.  
The five-day event will witness daily cultural events, dance programmes and interactive entertainment games which ensure audience regular prizes and goodies.

Organised by Hungund Events and Entertainment Pvt Ltd, the festival captures the pulsating and dynamic spirit of Dubai.

"The fete presents the best of Dubai in Mumbai for the first time. Our festival is spread over 10,500 sq meters allowing us to give a platform for both commercial as well as trade exchange for the trading community and the public," said Mohammad Kaif Hungund, Managing Director, Hungund Entertainment and Events Pvt LTD.

Apart from a wide array of stalls that feature the various facets of Dubai, visitors also have the opportunity to experience desert safaris. The event showcases the essence of entertainment, culture, hospitality and business opportunities Dubai offers. There are stalls selling perfumes and attars, ornaments and gems, Arabic attires, exotic furniture, mehndi designs, crockery, health supplements, etc.

Also on display is an exciting collection of imported high-end bikes and cars that will amuse auto lovers.
