 The second edition of Inspire 2017- RNB Global University’s Annual Fest was held on the 28th-29th of January 2017. Inspire 2017 is the celebration of today's youth to Dream, Perform and Achieve. RNBGU have brought in quality education, offering students the perfect platform to excel and achieve higher things in life. RNBGU’s Inspire 2017 is euphoria of college life indeed, a maneuver breaking the set routines of academics. It’s a gala celebration which aims to bring all the talents to forefront from managements to backstage teams to students, you name it, it was there!. The entire campus was gleaming with the theme colors of Inspire- blue and white for these two days. The Fest -a zenith of music, art, dramatics, literature, Business Plan, Ad Making, and Web Designing etc., tested the intellectual, oratory, artistic and creative skills of the students.

Day 1 started with the grand inaugural ceremony at Open Air Theater presided by Mrs Sarla Bajaj  as the Hon’ble Chief Guest, Mr. Radhey Shyam Meena (General Manager, Airport Authority, Bikaner) as the Guest of Honor along with other dignitaries. To seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the tradition of lamp lightening ceremony was done. Prof. Mahendra Ghadoliya Registrar, RNBGU extended gratitude to the esteemed guests in his welcome note.

To give a vibrant start to the fest Jaishree, Renu Sharma, Vaishali Jangir, Toshita etc, (II Semester) gave a mesmerizing performance on Rajasthani folk songs. Further to exhibit the theme of Inspire 2017 and brief the audience about the plethora of events which were to be conducted during the fest, students of BBA (IV semester) presented an exciting performance propounding all the 24 events planned for those two days of fest. Later, Mudit Khajanchi (BBA IV semester) completely took the audience with his scintillating musical performance.

Mr. Radhey Shyam Meena, the Guest of Honor in his address spoke about the significance of college fest in students’ life and the chance it provides to recognize their hidden talents and excel in various fields. He appreciated the efforts of RNB Global University to provide such platforms to young talents to encourage them to enhance their skills. All the esteemed guests declared Inspire 2017 as OPEN and released the bunch of hopes (balloon).

After the colorful opening ceremony scheduled events for the day one started. Students participated with full enthusiasm in events like Twists and Turns (Dance), Laugh-O-Mania (Standup Comedy/Mimicry), Dramatix (Theatre/Skit) Table War (Table Tennis), Master Minds (Chess), Tech War (Lan Games), RNB Masters ( Snooker) Impressions (Documentary), Wordsmith(Creative Writing), I am Kalam (Working Model/Projects) 20Point17FM (Radio Jockey), Bizz Bee (Business Plan), InQUIZitives (Quiz), Creative Palette (Painting), Paparazzo (Photography), Treasure Quest (Treasure Hunt). All the competitions had active participation from various colleges and whole day long people experienced a wide spectrum ranging from dance and dramatics to debating and quizzing.

Day 2 of the fest marked the start of a variety of various inter collegiate competitions like RNB Masters Final (Snooker), WebWizard (Web Designing), Cash the Trash (Junkyard), Kuisinier (Cooking), Adverto (Ad Making), Earthy Art (Sand Art & Clay), Paparazzo (Photography), Mystical Rhythms (Singing), Its-Tylish (Mr. and Ms. Inspire). These events were adjudicated by panel of eminent judges from each field. It was an eventful and unique experience for everyone who was part of it. Students amazed everybody with their graceful ramp walk during Its-tylish (Mr/Miss Inspire 2017) competition. Muskan Chajjer (BBA II semester) and Paramdeep Singh (BBA II semester) won the titles of Mr/Miss Inspire 2017 respectively.

For all the competitions exciting prizes were given during Prize Distribution Ceremony. Winners felt motivated to receive the prizes by the Hon’ble Vice Chairman Mr. Pramod Bajaj. In all the categories winning prize were Rs. 2100/ Rs 1100/ Rs.500 for the Winner/ First Runner-Up/ Second Runner-Up. Along with such individual prizes, Mega Prize worth Rs. 21,000 was given to the School securing the highest point in the fest. School of Commerce and Management stood as Winner; the award was received by the Dean SOCM Prof. Chattar Singh. Second Position was secured by School of Basic and Applied Sciences received by Dean SOBAS Prof. Kumud Sarin.

Flickering with the rays of the setting sun, Inspire 2017 came to life, in the form of the Open Air Theatre showcasing the mesmerizing concert of the young and talented singer/actor   Amit Tandon. This young performer stole the heart of the audience with his singing and made them dance along with him. The Open Air Theater was resounding with musical notes and hooting for Amit Tandon.

In the end Inspire 2017 was announced CLOSED by Dean Prof. Chattar Singh along with Registrar /Deputy Registrar and all the RNBGU fraternity. He congratulated all the faculty members/admin staff/ students etc for putting up a great show and for the successful completion of Inspire 2017.  Dr. Nitin Pathak, Event coordinator, Inspire-2017 expressed his gratitude to all the committees’ working day in/day out to make it a grand event. Anchors Komalta Bhargava/ SakshiBishnoi/ DivyaTulsiyani/ Meghna Bagri/ Mahendra Singh/ Priyanka Baid deserves a special mention for handling the stage eloquently. The two-day festivity of RNBGU was attended by many students across the state, who participated in more than 24 different competitions related to music, dance, dramatics, literary, fine arts etc. leaving wonderful memories to be cherished in future.
