Rajpath, India gate to witness the biggest rally on environment awareness drive PHD Swachh Paryavaran campaign



New Delhi, 1st of February 2017

Come 19th February and Delhi will witness the biggest educational awareness drive PHD Swachh Paryavaran Campaign which will comprise of a rally by around 6000 students from 75 different schools, organised by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This campaign in support with Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, under Government of India, will inspire participating school students & youth to become brand ambassadors for conservation of water resources & environment for taking it forward with a sense of commitment & renewed consciousness for nation building.

Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Shri Anil Baijal Ji will grace the occasion at the Rally and flag off the Walk in the presence of The Panel Members for PHD Chamber Swachh Paryavaran Campaign Mr. Gopal Jiwarajka, President PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. GS Singhvi, Chairman organising committee, Mr. Alok B Shriram, Former President PHDCCI, Mr. Anil Khaitan VP PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry,Rtn. Dr. Subramanian, Rotary Governor District 3011 and Mr. Saurabh Sanyal, Secretary General.

Mr. Gopal Jiwarajka, President PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry says “Some of the greatest threats facing the planet as of 2017 are climate change and global warming. It’s high time that we all wake up and fight this. Though PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry is associated with a number of awareness driven causes, but the aim of this initiative is only to elucidate the importance of CLEAN ENVIRONMENT, so that we all can make this world a better place to live in. “

Mr. GS Singhvi Chairman Organising Committee says “We have got a tremendous response from various organisations and Institutions to support our cleanliness campaign. In the last few months Our theme “Swachh Hawa Shudh Jal, Swastha Rahega Hamara Kal” has already spread across the audience in an entertaining way in the form of Flash Mob, Inter school play competition, Painting competition. With the rally on the 19th we would appeal every youth to be a part of this campaign“etc.
