India 20 February 2017: OXYGEN, is a Corporate Sports Carnival, designed as a first of a kind initiative to bond and bring in a sense of belonging amongst Corporate Professionals, through the medium of Sports.
The 8th Edition conducted this year on Saturday, the 18th of February 2017, at the Nehru Stadium, B Ground, Chennai from 8 am onwards.
The Event was Inaugurated by Brigadier Tej Pal Singh Rawat VSM.
OXYGEN torch will be lit by Former Olympians and International Sports Persons such as Thirugnanadorai, Mukesh Lal, Saloni Ramu, Durga, etc.. The Chief Guest for the evening will be Renjith Maheshwary, a 2 time Current Olympian, who has represented India for the Long Jump event at Rio. The Guest of Honour will be Dr Renuka David, the Managing Director of Radiant Medical Services who are into Home Health, Physiotherapy, Elder Care and Radiant Wellness Conclave - A event addressing todays life style disease. The event will also be graced by Lt Col Bharat Singh, a Special Forces Officer from the Indian Army, as a Guest for the Valedictory
OXYGEN 2017 is Powered by Radiant Medical Services and has Companies such as Infosys, IBM, Renault Nissan, Sicame, Dalmia Cements, Mytrah from Hyderabad, Lanson Group, Scientific Games, Ace Group, Fully Filmy and others participating, for their place in the Medals and Trophies list across disciplines such as Track (100M, 200M, 400M, 1500M and 8 X 100M), Mini Games (Football, Volleyball and Basketball), and Fun team Games (Tug of War, Human Pyramid, etc.) The ancillary competitions add to the excitement and adrenaline rush including the Best March Past, the Best Colours, the Best Mascot and the Best Cheering Team etc
