Founder Esri Inc. Jack Dangermond to deliver keynote
Noida, January 16, 2016: Esri India, the country’s leading Geographic Information System (GIS) Software & Solutions provider announced that its annual flagship event - Esri India User Conference (UC) will be hosted in Delhi on January 19 and 20, 2017. Themed on ‘GIS: Enabling Transformation’ the event is aimed towards GIS enabling a smarter digital world. and propagate the use of location based analytics.
Commenting on the upcoming conference, Agendra Kumar, President, Esri India said, “GIS technology can be a catalyst in the digital transformation journey of the country. Jack Dangermond, Founder and President, Esri Inc. and a renowned name in the GIS industry worldwide will be delivering a keynote address at this year’s UC which will feature over 80 sessions with over 100 speakers. The conference will have tracks on Smart Cities, Big Data and Spatial Analysis, GIS for Natural Resource Management, GIS for Public Safety, and an expo area where the latest technologies will be showcased. The winners of mApp Your Way, a GIS App development contest will also be announced during the event.
The Esri India User Conference 2017 will be preceded by Developer Summit and Imagery & Remote Sensing on 18th January, which are platforms for start-ups, developers and GIS professionals to learn more about the tools and techniques for creating location based applications using imaging or adding maps to their existing apps.
