Mumbai, January 31, 2017: BookMyShow set a new record for single day show sales by selling over 1.2 million tickets for shows on Republic Day. BookMyShow clocked an approximate 20% increase over its previous high set only in December 2016 during Dangal’s opening weekend. With this achievement, BookMyShow also contributed to approximately 1/3rd of the opening weekend collection (India) of two mega blockbusters Raees and Kaabil.
