23 December 2016, Pune: As December 2016 comes to an end, Qtrove.com reveals what, where and how all the secret Santas are shopping! In a nationwide survey with 4000 participants, Qtrove, an online portal for all things unique and curated, shared insights on India’s Christmas shopping traits post demonetisation.

 In an online survey conducted across the age group of 18 to 54 yrs, Qtrove.com throws light on the ideas, behaviour and gifting patterns that are expected this Christmas. More than 54% respondents prefer buying unique and hand made products as opposed to shopping from popular online portals that sell mass produced items.

More than 80% respondents said that they will be gifting office and college colleagues this Christmas followed by immediate family and close friends. The most popular gift choices are accessories, beauty products and clothes and close to 65% of respondents shared that they have a budget ranging from Rs 250 to Rs1000 per person.

Interestingly, 70% of respondents said that demonetisation has not affected their shopping budget or dampened their Christmas shopping vigour.
