New Delhi, December 4th, 2016’: With just a few days to go for the unveiling of musical theatrical drama Mamma Mia Again! in New Delhi, the makers of the team is giving sneak peak with a mini teaser of the Act by performing a flash mob activity at Select City Walk.
Directed by veteran theater director Ritu R Chandra, Mamma Mia Again! is a theatrical adaptation of the acclaimed film and Broadway play Mamma Mia, and is set to be staged at the Sri Ram Centre for Performing Arts on December 8th, 9th and 10th.
The proceeds from the play will go to “Women on Wheels’ program of the Azad Foundation and Sakha Consulting Wings.
The flash mob act surprised everyone at the venue as the spontaneous dancers spread their infectious energy among the crowd and brought smiles and laughter all round. The act consisted of a medley of the popular ABBA songs, with the dancers also drawing in members of the crowds into the act. The Azad Foundations trainees and the Sakha consulting drivers too participated in the fun activity and danced their hearts out.
FYI: The musical adaptation of the globally appreciated film and play Mamma Mia Again! is about a bride-to-be searching for her father, creating an amusing mess along the way. Directed and produced by Ritu R Chandra, it is a delightful comedy and a fund raising event with all proceeds going towards transformational Women on Wheels program that empowers disadvantaged women to become professional drivers. ‘Women on Wheels’ by Azad Foundation and Sakha Consulting Wings is a social initiative that gives resource poor women to earn a livelihood through Dignity.
