The 4th National School Merit Awards and Conference on K12 leadership by Education Today has held at the Chancery Pavilion in Bangalore. The Merit Awards, based on a parameter-wise ranking and jury choice awards were presented in 5 categories:

Top 20 ICSE schools
Top 20 preschools
Top 20 boys and girls
Top 20 boarding and International schools, parameter wise ranking and jury's choice awards were given to several premium schools across India.
Speaking on the awards, Mr Anil Sharma, Founder and Managing Director of Education Today said, “The awards are a recognition of all the great work done in the field of education in the past year. Education is a dynamic field and one that we have to constantly work at, to evolve and address the need of the hour. This conclave was a coming together of some of the best minds in the field and it is but right that we honour their contribution and work in the field with these awards”.
Speaking on the conference, Usha Mohan, Mentor Education Today said, “The conference saw a number of quality speakers take to the stage. Swati Popat Vats, the President of the Podar Network spoke on Early Childhood Association. Panel discussions included were on Cultural Diversity in Kindergarten, on Alternative Education and on 21st Century Education. Some eminent names in the industry such as NooraineFazal, Managing Director, Inventure Academy, Mansoor Ali khan, Treasurer of K.K Educational Trust, Shanti Menon, Principal of Deans Academy, ManasMehrotra, Director of Green Wood High and AnuMonga, Principal of Bangalore International School were among those at the helm of these discussions”.
