Sula’s Shiraz listed in the Wine Enthusiast’s ‘Top 100 Best Buys 2016’!



25th November 2016, Bangalore - Sula Vineyards, India’s #1 wine company, receives yet another accolade as their Shiraz is the only wine produced in Asia to be featured on the Top 100 list of ‘Best Buys’ by world renowned magazine, Wine Enthusiast.

For wines to qualify for the ‘Best Buy’ category, wines needs to meet two important criteria’s: price bracket equal to or less than US $15 and a certain quality – to – price ratio. The magazine’s expert tasting panel reviewed more than 21,000 wines this year, out of which, 1,400 were awarded the title of ‘Best Buys’. The judges further narrowed this list down to an elite list of the top 100 ‘Best Buys’.

 The Sula Shiraz 2015 ranked 37th on the list with 90 POINTS and is described by Mike DeSimone of Wine Enthusiast as “A bouquet of blueberry, brambles and flint”. 

This is a milestone for the Indian wine industry.
