500ml pouch of Pasteurized Organic Cow Milk at Rs.25
India 02 August 2016: Cowboys, a leading brand dedicated to dairy and allied agriculture, launches its pasteurized variant of organic cow milk in the market on 02 August 2016. The launched pasteurized variant is a pouch size of 500 ml priced at Rs 25.
Cowboys started with supply of organic untouched raw cow milk across Delhi -NCR. A liter of Organic untouched raw milk is availed to customers in a glass bottle at Rs.80, which has a shelf life of two days. The milk is currently available via a subscription model across Delhi NCR.
With the growing demand for organic cow milk the company introduced an economical variant with longer shelf life. Initiating the availability of the pasteurized organic cow milk variant from retail outlets across Gurgaon.
Mr. Aalekh Agarwal, Chief Agriculture Officer, Cowboys said, “Having successfully managed to reduce the supply chain costs, Cowboys is planning to bring the goodness of pure organic cow milk to every household in North India by eliminating the middlemen from the supply chain. With the launch of pasteurized variant, we are aiming to cater our customers across North India. We have also plans to explore added milk products segment soon.”

Cowboys is the retail arm of Trunks and Roots, a company dedicated to dairy activities and allied agriculture. Cowboys provides pure, untouched cow milk to more than 500 households in Delhi NCR.
In 2014 Cowboys started as a small livestock farm with 8 cows, and with a small land to grow vegetables. With standardized operations, a cold-chain was developed for transporting milk to Delhi and retailing of untouched milk was initiated under the brand name “Cowboys” in January 2015. Since then it has diversified its product range and now offers 10 products including Cow Ghee, Honey, Cooking Oil, Spices etc.
