The Films and Theatre Society of Delhi will be travelling to the Garden City with their flagship festival for 3 days with 3 of their most popular plays.
Chakravayuh, starring Nitish Bharadwaj, who is well known for his role as “Krishna” from BR Chopra’s Mahabharat . This play is an attempt to present the chapter of Chakravyuh from the great epic of Mahabharata in a modern day interpretation.
Draupadi, starring the household names Himani Shivpuri, Rakesh Bedi, is a play that takes excerpts from the story of Draupadi and adds imaginative sequences to bring out the real essence of the association between Draupadi and today's women.
And Couple Trouble, featuring Kashmira Shah from the world of television and cinema explores human desires and their interesting and humours numerous ways of achieving them.
