When all the natural teeth in a jaw are lost due to old age, trauma, decay, gum disease or cancer, the classical treatment is to provide complete dentures. If there is sufficient bone available, titanium dental implants are placed and artificial teeth are fixed on these. If jaw bone is insufficient, additional bone is taken from the patients' hip bone and fixed to the jaw bone followed by implant placement and artificial teeth fixation. This normally takes 1 year to be completed. An alternative faster and more successful technique without using any bone grafts is the Zygoma Implant technique. Patients from the age of 17 up to 70 years have benefited from this technique in Rajan dental Institute. With our team's experience and 98% success rate, we decided to launch a super specialty center of excellence called Zygoma Dental Implant Clinic to give a greater impetus to this treatment modality in India.
