CSR Film Fest starts on February 6th

February, 2016|  For the only of its kind Indian Social Responsibility Film Fest have identity of special event this time also received a large number of entries from road safety, women empowerment and education. CSR Film Fest jointly being organized by the Road Safety Foundation and the Union Bank have been getting tremendous response from film stars, filmmakers and students. The Fest will be held on 6 and 7 Feb in the auditorium of Department of Computer & Information Technology at Devi Ahilya University.

The fest is an attempt that films created on socially relevant issues may be brought before the public and best films will be awarded. It could inspire the new generation filmmakers. In the same film Fest is also a campaign of increasing social sensitivity and spreading awareness in youth studying in educational institutions.

Expressing his happiness Mr. Mihir Patnaik, member of ISRFF said,"" We are very delighted to honour the contributions of youngsters on the relevant social issues. we feel very proud to see the response in the direction of social change on important issues such as women's empowerment at the fest. Through ISRFF we are able to do something extraordinary in the field of media going step ahead of Masala movies''.

Apart from film screenings the CSR Film Fest is also organizing special film making workshops for those interested in making films on socially relevant issues. These workshops would be conducted by FTII alumni and the renowned sound designer Mr. Hari Pillai from bollywood. The entry to this workshop is free but prior registration is required.

The positive role of the media, the various issues and solutions will be discussed during the fest.  During the fest Bollywood's legendary production designer Jayant Deshmukh will share almost 30 years of their rich experiences with the participants.

Rotary club Indore, Shear Genius, Perfect Pitch, Print Plus, Ajay malamkar etc are the sponsors for the CSR Film Fest.
