Bangalore, February 16, 2016: We are proud to announce the Third Edition of, perhaps, India’s only all-comprehensive pet show- The Bangalore Pet Show, 2016- on Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm at Jayamahal Palace Hotel.
Some of the most exotic breeds of birds and fishes will be on show while a variety of dogs and cats will be accompanied by their owners to help pet lovers in our garden city get acquainted with the fascinating world of pets.
While Kingfisher is our ‘Good Times Partner’ along with Wet Pets, Gulmarg Aquaria Solutions, Brookefield Hospital, Commstrat and Magic Holidays, this year the California-based Unikorn Inc, who will be making their presence felt online in the entire range of pet products and pet services, are our co-sponsors.

THEME: Focus on Indian native dog breeds
“While there is a lot of talk of promoting native Indian breed of dogs, not much is done on their breeding. In this year’s show we invite owners of Indian breeds to take part in our show and participate in a breeding programme to be initiated by us at the show,” said M. Satya Narayan, Event Director of Bangalore Pet Show.

“The Bangalore Pet Show’s main aim is to ensure pet lovers get educated on how to acquire and rear pets, meet and mix with other pet owners and share experiences, take free advice from our at the show. We welcome all to come along with the pets while those who are interested can get a first hand view and advice on pets,” he added.
“Amidst all the stress and strain of the city’s growing population and traffic, pets play the perfect role as stress busters and with Bangalore gaining a status of a huge pet city, thanks to the kind-hearted people and the climate, the Bangalore Pet Show is an ideal platform for them,” said M. SIDE SHOWS
Mr Ikram Khan, Event Co-ordinator said, “This year the side shows will be held in the morning session and again repeated in the evening so people don’t miss out on the action. A talk and show by Canine Behaviourist C.V Franklin, a Quiz for kids by Unikorn, Free Holidays packages
through a Free Raffle draw from Magic Holidays, Martial Art demonstration by Grand Master Praveen Ranka’s Martial Arts Trust, Beat boxing display and other attractions will entertain visitors on the sidelines, both in the morning session as well as the afternoon session.”
“We will be following all guidelines and rules of the Animal Welfare Board of India and ensure the welfare of pets is uppermost during the show,” he added.
Free Health Check-up for Visitors
“Diabetes & Cardiac diseases are the No.1 killer disease in India, due to faulty lifestyle. We, as partners of the Bangalore Pet Show since 2014, are promoting health awareness in the field of Cardio Diabetology, by organising a comprehensive health check up for visitors to the show this year. BMI, Blood glucose testing, Cardiac risk profiling, ECG, Lung function test, Lipid profile, HBA1c testing are some of the tests that shall be conducted free of cost to the first 100 visitors to the Brookefield Hospital stall,” said Dr. T.J Pradeep Kumar, Medical Director, Brookefield Hospital
