The lyrics convey a longing for lost love
Mumbai, February 2016: Artist Aloud, the preferred destination for independent music artists has been the voice for many Indian as well artists from other countries. Artist Aloud is thrilled on the latest addition to its list of upcoming artists with the release of versatile British-Asian singer, Tripet Garielle’s brand new single Aa Vee Jaa, from her debut solo album Woh Pal. The song is about a sweet soul longing for her lover during Christmas, the most celebrated time of the year.
The track is a great example of the emerging British Bollywood scene and while the lyrics convey a strong longing for a lost love, the beat is quite peppy. The track is produced and directed by one of the world’s most renowned music composers Atif Ali who has worked with musicians like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Pritam, Salim –Suleiman and many more. A special video has been released which is produced and directed by Masood, who also directed ‘Woh Pal.’ The team decided to shoot the video in London itself to capture the Christmas vibe in order to add depth to the lyrical meaning of the video.
Known for her soulful voice, Tripet has spent over a year working on her album with Atif Ali. Crossing over multiple genres such as Dance, Acoustic, Ambient Lounge, Romantic, and Sufi Rock, Tripet has managed to garner a strong fan base in a short span of time.
