ICAI Awards CA Graduation Certificates to Members in Karnataka During Convocation Ceremony

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (Act No. XXXVIII of 1949) for the regulation of the profession of Chartered Accountants in India. Founded 66 years ago the Institute has grown to more than 2,35,000 CA Members and more than 9 LAKH STUDENTS. ICAI NOW IS THE SECOND LARGEST ACCOUNTING BODY IN THE WHOLE WORLD.

ICAI holds its examinations twice a year during which the candidates who successfully complete all the requirements to become a Chartered Accountant are then called to their Convocation at various cities of the country. The pass percentage for the recently held Final Examination was 5.75 % for both groups.

The Convocation has been successfully conducted at Bengaluru, CA. K Raghu, Imm. Past President, ICAI inaugurated the ceremony alongwith CA. Allama Prabhu M S, Chairman, Bangalore Branch , ICAI and CA. Cotha Srinivas, Regional Council Member, ICAI and addressed a gathering. CA. K Raghu, accompanied by CA. Allama Prabhu M S and CA. Cotha Srinivas, handed over the Membership certificates to all the 312 Members present at the ceremony. The event was a grand success.
