Dichotomous Journeys A solo art show by Vijay Anand
Capital was pleased by the range of abstract art unveiled by artist Vijay Anand at Artspeaks India Gallery through the art exhibition titled ‘Of Dichotomous Journeys’. The event started by lighting of lamp by Bhaichand Patel who encouraged and appreciated the artist for his years of dedication in art. He mentioned, "I have known Vijay for very long time now but only as a renowned architect and it was later I was introduced to his spectacular skill in art and feel more proud to be associated with him".
The mediums used on his art works were acrylic, watercolors to create abstract art and included various elements in it like wood, skeins and more to improve and add more depth in his artworks.
The show was an opportunity for art enthusiasts to get a glimpse on the colorful and experimental series of artwork.As a gallerist and lover of art Ashwini Pai Bahadur feels proud to showcase Vijay Anand's work in her gallery Artspeaks. She thinks,"With Vijay Anand's vibrant and experimental series of work the gallery got another fresh perspective to cherish with".
At the event the artist mentioned, "Art was always his first love and though being a professional architect it is only art that can provide me mental peace, it's the medium to meet my inner self".
