As an entity that believes in proactively building meaningful awareness and spreading positivity through its actions, CNBC-TV18 has joined hands with Angel Xpress Foundation, an NGO that provides educational support to underprivileged kids through regular access to educated adults. The channel is encouraging its viewers to partake in this campaign by either volunteering their time for 2-3 hours at the NGO’s free tuition classes or by donating a nominal sum of only Rs. 23 a day. The free tuition classes give the underprivileged children an opportunity to understand their respective syllabi better, and face challenges with confidence. This also gives citizens an opportunity to do their bit in community building and being agents of change.

CNBC-TV18 is requesting viewers to do their bit so that children can light up their lives this festive season through 'Ummeed ka Diya', translating to lamp of hope. Commenting on the campaign Priyanka Tiku-Tripathi, VP - Marketing, CNBC-TV18 says, ‘Today's children will make up tomorrow's society and to attain sustainable growth, it is important to equip them with good education.
