India 18 october 2016: The clowns are back as Phoenix Marketcity turns 5. As a part of the week long anniversary celebrations, The International Clown Festival is coming back to Phoenix Marketcity so be prepared to laugh uncontrollably. The 5th edition of the International Clown Festival will feature clowns from across the globe. This event is taking the family entertainment to the next level.
The International Clown Festival- India is now in its 5th Edition and is proud to present you ‘Clowns that Ran away from the Circus’.
Often you hear about young ones running away to join the circus. Well, here is a twist. We have a bunch of clowns who ran away from the circus. Come watch Flubber and his international friends Sparky, Timmyto, Benji and Maggie perform their own version of a circus. The clowns will do what they do best. Create their world of imagination, through slapstick, comedy, juggling, magic and masti. Kids will laugh, teenagers will be amazed at their skills and the youth will want to emulate them. And Parents? Well they will learn a new meaning to the phrase ‘Be a Clown’.

TIMMYTO : Oscar Flores, MEXICO
Oscar Flores, began his clown career at the age of 5 working alongside his parents Timmy and Anny Bond. Timmyto has a degree in performing and circus contemporary arts. He is skilled in juggling 5 clubs, 7 balls, bouncing balls, standard and giraffe unicycle, walking globe and also plays the trumpet. Timmyto has attended numerous festival, clown camps, conventions has been on various TV shows. He was a part of the Dubai shopping festival in 2015 and the 4th International Clown Festival in India in 2015.
BENJI : Benjamin Domask USA
Benji: Benjamin Domask is a performing artist who combines the skill and technique of juggling with the theory and philosophy of clown under the aesthetic of corporeal mime to create a unique blend of circus and theatre. He is skilled in juggling 5 clubs, 6 balls, spinning plates, mime, and also plays the trumpet. He has performed across the United States at festivals, fair and events. He was a part of the 4th International Clown Festival in India in 2015.
SPARKY : Pam Moody USA
Sparky: Pam Moody has been a professional clown for 20+ years. Her roots began on stage, but in later years learned that she had a knack and passion for face painting. She loves working with audiences of all ages and abilities. She currently serves as President Elect of the World Clown Association. She was a part of the 4th International Clown Festival in India in 2015.
MAGGIE : Nicole Portwood,USA
Maggie : Nicole Portwood, has been clowning around for over 30 years. She has credits including Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney World and Disneyland among many others. Her greatest joy is bringing happiness to those she entertains and can think of no other job that compares to the world of bringing laughter to others. Some of Nicole (Maggie's) skills include juggling, magic, stilt-walking, balancing, face painting, balloon twisting and more!
FLUBBER : Martin DSouza,INDIA
Flubber : Martin DSouza, has been clowning for over 24 years. He is currently the Vice President of the World Clown Association and the producer of the International Clown Festival, now in its 5thEdition. He has also been the Regional Director of West Asia and the Middle East of WCA. He has produced his own clown musical theatre show called ‘Flubber and Friends show’ which ran for over 100 shows in Mumbai. He has performed in the United States, Malaysia, China, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Ireland and all across India.
Martin ‘FLubber’ DSouza has recently won the International ‘Clown of the Year’ Award for 2016 from WCA.
