India 3 October 2016: The 14th edition of the Air India Tourism Quiz for Corporates, organized in connection with the World Tourism Day celebrations recently at the Radisson Blu Resort Temple Bay, Mamallapuram, saw participation of over 70 teams from Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore etc.
Team Saregama (HMV) from Mumbai comprising of - Avinash Mudaliar and Rahul Kottlagi walked away with the 1st prize - a trip to Paris for two nights and 3 days, while the 2nd prize - a trip to Vienna, was won by Prashant Kamal and Vaishnav Mani of Flextronics. The 3rd prize - a trip to Singapore, was won by Deepak Taneja & Suresh, from Indian Oil Corporation, New Delhi.
All the flight tickets are sponsored by Air India, the title sponsor and stay for 2 nights & 3 days is being sponsored by the Global Conference Management Group.
Mrs. Priamvada Vishwanathan, Chief Transportation Planning Manager, Southern Railway, was the quiz master. Started in 2001, as a quiz for college students, the quiz then saw a format change in 2008 catering to the corporate sector.
