Marwari Yuva Manch Organizes Cancer Detection Camp in Bannerghatta


Bengaluru 1st October 2016 : Marwari Yuva Manch STARS Branch had conducted Cancer Detection & Awareness Camps on 1st Oct 2016 at Shree Shyam Mandir Premises in Bannerghatta Road. Manch is thankful to the management of Shri Shyam Mandir Trust for providing venue and co-operation. More than 150 people were screened for Cancer in this Camp. Physically challenged people from in and around area were specifically motivated to attend this camp. People were motivated to quit smoking and not eat tobacco related products in order to prevent Cancer. Convenors for this Camp were Saurabh Jawanpuria, Rohit Garg & Manish Agarwal.

The Cancer Detection Camp was organized to draw the attention of the public to the ill-effects of smoking, chewing tobacco and pan masala products. The purpose of the camp is to reach out to as many people and their families as possible, in different socio-economic sections of society and persuade them to go in for regular screening. During these camps, the people will be screened for cancer & motivate to adopt healthy lifestyle and QUIT SMOKING & TOBACCO for SAVING LIFE FROM CANCER.
