India’s biggest all women’s  run, organized by Maximus MICE & Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd. under the aegis of United Sisters Foundation, saw women across age groups and from all different strata of society participating  in the multi-category run to raise awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle for women & issues like breast cancer

 Delhi, September 4, 2016: Pinkathon, empowering Indian Women, an initiative to raise awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle for women and issues like breast cancer, successfully concluded fourth edition in Delhi on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi. More than 9,000 women across age groups and from all different segments of the society participated enthusiastically in the V wash Plus 3 km, Mia by Tanishq 5 km, Sofit Soya Milk  10 km and UN’s He for She 21 km categories. Flagging off the run was super-model, actor, fitness enthusiast avid barefoot runner and Pinkathon founder Milind Soman along with prominent women personalities like RJ Heena from RED FM who expressed their wholehearted supported for the noble cause.

Medical Partner Apollo Hospitals will be providing a Medical tag for every participant Pinkathon Delhi 2016. This medical tag will provide a free Mammogram to all the participants above 44yrs of age & a free medical examination check-up for those who are under 44yrs from Apollo Hospital.
The event running in its fourth Edition in Delhi saw eminent personalities present at the event to support the cause.  Some of the noteworthy participants in the run were a group of 30 visually impaired girls and 48 hearing impaired girls running the Vwash plus 3KM/Mia by Tanishq 5km/Sofit Soya Milk 10km distance with enthusiasm. Additionally the run witnessed a squad of cancer survivors who participated in Vwash Plus 3KM and Mia by Tanishq 5km.10 Baby wearing mothers carrying babies just a few months old walked the Vwash Plus 3KM distance.  The run had participants as young as 4 months and as old as 84 years.
