Visakhapatnam: Gangavaram Port Limited today awarded scholarship and felicitated the top scoring 10th class students from Gangavaram High School,Peddagantyada Mandal ( batch of 2015-16) .
Master Badi Tata Rao who scored the first rank in his school was given Rs. 10,000/- , Miss. Koviri Devika & Miss. Kambala Anjali were awarded Rs. 5000/- each as scholarships. The distribution of scholarships was done in presence of Sri K Rajaratnam Naidu, Sr Vice President (Security, R&R), Sri LPS Ramu Naidu, Vice President (Liasoning) along with other staff members from Gangavaram Port.
The initiative was a step to recognise and support meritorious students in their studies and create an environment to promote education in the city.
