ŠKODA India expands its footprint in Delhi NCR – with the inauguration of Grand Auto Capital

Delhi, 14th April, 2016: ŠKODA Auto India today inaugurated ‘Grand Auto Capital ŠKODA’ its new facility in Delhi. Strategically located in the heart of the city, the dealership is well connected to other parts of the city. The new dealership will sport ŠKODA’s new Corporate Design and Identity. ŠKODA India will revamp upto 50 percent of dealer network by end 2016.

The new showroom located at the Netaji Subhash Place sprawls an area of 3273 sq.ft accommodating a 5-car display in a refreshed setup. The new service facility of 17048 sq.ft is located 3kms away from the showroom at the Wazirpur Industrial Area. With the launch of this facility ŠKODA’s strength in Delhi NCR is 6 sales and 5 service.

Commenting on the refreshed look of ŠKODA dealerships, Mr. Ashutosh Dixit, Director – Sales, Service & Marketing said, “Currently ŠKODA Auto India is at an important juncture, strengthening the position of the brand in the country. We have invested in modernizing our dealer network to provide the ideal backdrop for the presentation of our refreshed model line-up to the customers. By end of 2016, about upto 50 percent of ŠKODA India’s dealer network will showcase the refreshed appearance.”

The redesigned dealership network globally and in India will offer modern showrooms with a great look and feel, customer friendly environment, creating a pleasant atmosphere and transparency. The exteriors to the dealerships are to be completely redesigned. The new appearance of the ŠKODA dealerships will be the brand’s powerful statement both day and night – clear, transparent, modern and open. Recognizable elements provide unique orientation. An important aim is to improve the visibility of the buildings.

Fresh colours, clarity, openness and transparency – are the highlights of the new interiors of ŠKODA dealership showrooms. ŠKODA has placed a highest priority on functionality and clear orientation options for the customer. The design fully follows function. The ultimate goal: The customer is at the centre for all processes in the dealership, from the initial greeting through the sales pitch and the test drive to delivery of the vehicle. This new concept will allow fast, direct and easy communication with the customer.

All new design elements are modular and extremely flexible in their construction. This means that they can be adapted to the individual circumstances of the dealership. The new concept can be used simply for virtually any existing ŠKODA centre.

Elevating the buying experience, ŠKODA India has introduced a next-generation iPad based sales tool for sales consultants. With the help of this sales tool, the sales consultants will be able to elaborately explain the features of our cars in an interactive and engaging manner.

The dealership exclusively caters to ŠKODA Auto and will retail and provide services for the four existent models: Rapid, Superb, Octavia & Yeti. The launch of the redesigned dealership is the latest chapter in ŠKODA Auto India’s commitment to strengthen its presence in the country.
