The Delhi School of Communication (DSC) Organises Annual Convocation Programme

New Delhi, April 14, 2016: The Delhi School of Communication celebrated the annual convocation ceremony and awarded degrees to the students who successfully completed the 20th batch of students who successfully completed the Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Communication (PGDPC) in the 20th batch of DSC’S flagship programme. Diplomas, special awards and scholarships being also conferred to the outgoing batch of working executives. The event was thrown on April, 13, 2016 at Alliance Francaise de Delhi.

Mr. Sanjeev Bikhchandani, Co-Founder Info Edge India Ltd was the Chief Guest of the annual function who also made the convocation speech. Mr. Rajiv Tewari, Co-Founder & Conceptualizer, The Delhi School of Communication and CEO, True Wealth Creators and Integrated Media Network & Ms. Bhavana Mittal, Head of Media, Indian Sub-Continent, GSK were present as the guests of honour for the occasion. Many other eminent personalities and dignitaries were also present at the convocation programme.



Congratulating the students and wishing them a bright future ahead, Mr Bhikchandani gave three important tips to the students, which he said if they followed in their careers, would definitely lead to success. “‘Look for meaning and not money’. If you found the meaning, then passion will come from within, and you will achieve results. ‘Be a good people’s person’ and that if you imbibe kills like honesty, respect, humility, understanding, then, you will be the kind of person people want to work with which will make you a good leader and ‘You must give back’ to find greater meaning in the learning process.”

Prof Ramola Kumar, Dean, The Delhi School of Communication, opened up the path of success too, as she said, “Life will throw up new opportunities and we need to look, listen to our own self and then see if we want to grab the opportunity!”

The graduating batch has seen lucrative placements in diverse areas such as Media Planning, Client Servicing, Creative, Digital, Film Production, Marketing & Business Development and Strategic Communications from various prestigious organisations such as GSK, IPAC, Group M, Miditech and several exciting start-ups such as Berootd, TrakRYT, GetVee Technologies among others.
