Hyderabad, 2nd March, 2017: The National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD&PR), Hyderabad, Telangana State which comes under the aegis of Union Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, invites Applications/ Nominations from the Innovators/ Startups for the display, demonstration and pitching of their ideas and technologies in the Rural Innovators Startup Conclave 2017 (RISC2017) being organized from 23 to 24 March, 2017 at NIRDPR, Hyderabad.
Domain Sector:
1. Agriculture and Allied
2. Green Energy Technologies
3. Drinking water, Health and Sanitation
4. Waste to Wealth
5. Sustainable Housing Technologies
6. Sustainable Livelihoods
Category of Nomination:
1. IDEA with Prototype: Innovator should have built a Prototype with some results or in the middle of building and refinement of it.
2. Startup Stage: Innovator / Team should have at least customers on board and looking for scaling up of the Innovation / Technology.
The eligibility criteria:
· Applicant can be Indian or International resident, but must be above 18 years of age
· Startup entity in existence for below five years
· Startup annual turnover should not exceed INR 25 Lakhs
· The solution offered should be applicable to rural and semi urban
· The solution should be innovative, add value to customers and should be commercially scalable
· The solution should be beyond the idea stage, address a clear opportunity and has a scalable transactional model
· Showcasing of Prototype / Product or Posters at the event is compulsory
AWARDS
There will be two awards under each domain sector
FACILITIES FOR PARTICIPANTS:
For the innovators whose nominations are accepted for display & demonstration logistics which includes To & Fro travel by second class Sleeper/Bus and Hostel facilities at NIRDPR, Hyderabad will be FREE.
The last date for the nomination is 10th March 2017.
