Cargill as part of its commitment to support education partnered with Pragati in 2008. Through the financial support extended, children of daily labourers in various localities in Gurugram are offered free primary education. The initiative started with enrollment of 110 children and today over 400 students are registered across 3 Pragati Primary Schools. Besides supporting the academic education as per the Haryana Board, Cargill helps students in their overall development and enhancing their technical and vocational know-how by arranging computer education, conducting english speaking classes, Indian classical dance classes, dramatics and other co- curricular activities.
