Missouri State University, US, invites Indian students for UG program in Communication


Bengaluru , 17th January, 2017: Missouri State University (MSU),long-established university of mid-west US, has invited applications for undergraduate program under the Department of Communication. The communication studies program at Missouri State is a liberal arts program that enunciates on how communication shapes the society and how the communication information is shaped, explained and evaluated for the advancement of communities.

The program gives students a room to develop in one of the seven tracks:

·         Communication Studies -Communication Studies track program offers students the greatest flexibility of all the communication department’s programs.


·         Ethical Leadership –This track provides students a comprehensive study of the role of communication in understanding and enacting ethical leadership.  

·         Health Communication - It focuses on communication theory and research in the healthcare context.


·         Intercultural Communications and Diversity - It improves students’ understanding of communication similarities and differences among diverse groups and develops practical applications for applying communication skills in those settings.

·         Interpersonal Communication – This track provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate effectively and responsibly in a variety of interpersonal contexts including family, friends, and work.

 ·         Organizational Communication - The study of organizational communication emphasizes both the effects of the organizational context on communication and the role of communication in shaping organizational life and effectiveness.


·         Rhetoric Communication - The rhetoric track at Missouri State prepares students to research, compose and deliver persuasive communication messages.

Who can apply?

Any student with a (10+2) certificate in senior secondary education, with high GPA, ACT score of 24 or SAT score of 1180 and IELTS score of 5.5 or TOEFL score of 61.
