The scheme aims to provide training and professional development opportunity for aspiring teachers to teach our blended and online courses, and other teaching opportunities with the wider English teams.

The Blended Learning Teacher Training Scheme includes:

50% sponsorship on the four-week full time Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) on the courses mentioned below:

About Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA):

The practical English language teaching qualification that gives you the essential knowledge, hands-on teaching experience and classroom confidence to qualify as a teacher of English as a Second Language (ESL). CELTA is great for recent graduates, people who are changing career, or teachers who want to gain a formal qualification.
Through the Blended Learning Teacher Training Scheme you get:

·         100% sponsorship on a six-week part time e-moderating certification course.

·         dedicated mentor, shadowing and learning opportunities as they go through the apprenticeship programme.

·         Successful participants on the programme will be offered a teaching contract for at least six months which includes access to a full teacher support programme.
