VODAFONE INDIA CREATES ‘LARGEST VOUCHER’; BECOMES GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ TITLE HOLDER


·         Vodafone creates a gigantic 62 ft 5.5 inch by  40ft 1 inch (2503.53 sq ft or 232.32 sq mtr) paper recharge voucher to celebrate the assortment of offers available through paper recharges of varied denominations, serving the needs of different customer categories

India 17 October 2016: History was made in Agra today as Vodafone India celebrated Vodafone SuperNet™, Vodafone’s best ever network in UP West Circle, by creating a  62 ft 5.5 inch by  40ft 1 inch (2503.53 sq ft or 232.32 sq mtr) paper recharge voucher. With this unique initiative, Vodafone has created a new Guinness World Record™. This achievement by Vodafone UP-West, was certified by Mr. Swapnil Dangarikar, Adjudicating Officer, Guinness World Records™. The feat symbolises the assortment of offers available through paper recharge vouchers of different denominations, serving the needs of different customer categories. The Guinness World Records™ event was graced by Guest of Honour Shri. Sujit Pandey (IPS) – IGP Uttar Pradesh Police, who congratulated the Vodafone, team on their innovative achievement.

A visibly elated Dillip Kumar Ganta, Business Head- UP-West, Vodafone India said, “We have made significant investments on ramping up our network in UP West and Uttarakhand for Vodafone SuperNet™, Vodafone’s best network ever.
