India 15 October 2016: The Body Shop India won top position while competing with 93 beauty brands in the country at the recently concluded ELLE Beauty Awards. Attended by very high profile beauty experts and Bollywood celebrities, ELLE Beauty Awards is one of the most prestigious annual award ceremonies, held globally. With the spotlight firmly on star products and beauty expert, ELLE Beauty Awards honors the best in beauty. Prominent brands across the country participate in this award and the winners are chosen through public voting.
Started in India in 2006, this year marks the 10th edition of ELLE Beauty Awards in India. The Body Shop swiftly swept 5 awards in different segments in head to toe categories, besides being declared the overall best beauty brand for 2016. The Body Shop is also celebrating its 10 years in India this year.
The Body Shop's award winning products were in the following categories for expert Skincare and Body care products showcasing The Body Shop's strong position in India as a destination for Natural and Ethical Skincare and Body care range which does not test on animals.
