Heading into the round as championship leader, the Mumbai lad was struck with poor luck particularly in Race 3 when his rear-wing got knocked off after being rear-ended under safety car conditions. In Race 4, he had to retire his car due to the engine dying.

Despite a disappointing weekend, Nayan has had a good season, which includes wins in Rounds 1 and 2 of the Euro JK16 series, and second position overall at the KRS KKS Asia Max Challenge, thus also establishing himself as one of the best kart racers in Asia.
