Today, we are honored to partner with the Madhya Pradesh Govt. and we welcome the talented artisans of MP on to our platform. These gorgeous Chanderi & Maheshwari fabrics and saris have been around for years!  The LimeRoad Mobile App will take these unique assets of India to millions of customers, and make these products from TRaditional to TRending! Over the next couple of months, we will be working with the talented artisans of Madhya Pradesh to blend these wonderful traditional weaves with modern day design, thus taking these fabrics right into the wardrobes of the millennials."

Commenting on the association, Mr. Deepak Bajpai, GM Mrignaynai (MP Govt Emporium), said, “We are extremely happy to sign this MoU with LimeRoad and are confident that this association will empower and enable the artisans of MP. The style quotient and immense consumer network of LimeRoad will help our artisans to focus on the product and help showcase the products as trendy and stylish to the modern young Indian.”

For much of the last few years, many e-commerce firms have spoken about small scale entrepreneurs and artisans. The core issue always has been that while the products were available online, they were neither easily discoverable not they were made relevant for the modern day consumer who is shopping online. LimeRoad's aim is to focus on exactly these break points with it ambitious #LimeRoadWeavesOfIndia program launched on the 7th May.  As part of this, for eg, Aishika Fashion from the heart of West Bengal sold more on the first day of the campaign than it did all of the previous month put together.  All of this ultimately drives back to LimeRoad's core mission of continuing to build India's most extensive delightful discovery platform.

Handicrafts products including sarees, home décor products, accessories etc would be available on LimeRoad by end October.
