Crystal’s ACM-9 Wins “Best New Product Launch Award”

ACM-9 is a product extremely beneficial for Indian agriculturist. It helps in preventing weed infestation (for Phalaris and other broad leaf weeds) and enhances crop yield. Phalaris minor is the single most dominant grassy weed in northern Indian plains causing significant yield losses. Commonly known as Gulli Danda, it is one of the most limiting factors for the wheat production.
Receiving the award, Mr. N K Aggarwal, Chairman, Crystal Crop Protection Pvt Ltd said, “We are delighted to receive this award for best new product. After getting the registration in December 2014, we launched the product in 2015 during the Rabi season. Within a very short span of time, this product has gained a promising response from farmers and agri experts in Punjab and Haryana. This recognition has boosted the confidence of our team. We will be coming up with more such products for the betterment of Indian farmers.”

Explaining how this came about, Mr Aggarwal said, “Crystal always takes pride in its innovative range of product spectrum which we develop with intensive R&D. Farmer traditionally used herbicides for controlling Phalaris. But at present, Phalaris has developed resistance against all the prevalent herbicides in India. After a lot of research, we have developed this product ACM-9 which will be extremely useful for farmers in Punjab, Haryana and surrounding regions who are majorly affected by the invasion of weeds.”
