In a bid to provide a platform for fresh contemporary faces, mid-career artists and seasoned maestros, a team of young experts have envisioned an idea of making art accessible without over-simplifying it, with online an art-start up called Art Explore.

The price here are accessible yet competitive and will open doors to not just the seasoned buyer but young urban collectors and corporates and anyone else who aspires to own a piece of quality art.  On Art Explore it just takes a click to browse through our collection.

Besides the state-of-the art website they even have a cozy a lake facing viewing room in Hauz Khas Village, that enhances the entire experience of ‘shopping for art’.  They also plan to host talks and interactive sessions with art at the available space. This is a one-of-a-kind initiative, which will help bridge the gap between buyers and artists, by providing in-depth information and guidance to young collectors. Art explore selects the artists after a through appraisal of their portfolio, growth curve, potential, flair and style. Their price points are also not too heavy on the wallet and artworks, that are handpicked, is light on the eye.

The online art-start-up will go live in September with their inaugural exhibition titled ‘Pop Goes the Easel!’ It would feature eminent artists from across the country such as Anjum Khan, Amith Das, GogiSarojpal, Hifzul Sheikh, Kanchan Chander, Mahua Sen, Pallav Chander, Pramod Kumar, Ravi Dhingra, RituKamat, Seema Kohl, ShampaSircar Das, Sanjay Das and Venus Thokchom, among others.
The team plans to formally launch the first exhibition in the month of October followed by many other collaborative exhibitions.
The team of experts meticulously goes through artist portfolios, whether it is Pune, Patna, Manipur, Bhopal, Cochin and Odhisa to name just a few. Like their artist Venus Thockchom, MeenaLaishram and Rajnikantha from the North East. Malika Raj, brings us a unique flavor of Buddhist Madhubani from Bihar while Pramod who is also from Bihar presents its urban side.

“I have always been an art enthusiast and collector, with my background in interior design. I wanted to expand my horizons by adding art to my ventures,” says Pranav Sahu a seasoned businessman who is the Co-Found of Art Explore.

Vikram Singh is the other Co-Founder who is also a passionate photographer, envisioned Art Explore as a site for photography, “However, with time I realized that painting and other art forms would be integral to this venture,” says Singh, who brings his 15-years of experience.

“For the coming year we plan several exhibitions, interactions and conversation-starters, while also participating in national and international exhibitions, in the future. We are keen to display genres of paintings, photography, sculptures, sketches, drawings and installations,” says Georgina Maddox, Chief Curator at Art Explore.
