India 13 September 2016: UrbanClap is one of India's fastest growing start-ups committed to offering service professionals to help do daily tasks with ease. When UrbanClap decided to expand base in Chennai and look for online promotional activities, they got in touch with the Chennai Bloggers Club. CBC as it is popularly known is Chennai's biggest group of bloggers with over 350 active bloggers blogging across genres and in multiple languages.
A month long campaign involving bloggers downloading the app and using the services of UrbanClap was planned. Bloggers used the app and wrote about their experiences. An event was conducted on August 27 at Waf-O-Bel a waffle cafe in Chetpet to felicitate the winning bloggers. Additionally, 25 of the city's prominent bloggers attended the event for a round of fun, games and a pop-quiz.
Mr. Pugazhendi and Mr. Ramesh from UrbanClap introduced the salient features of the app and spoke about the vision and mission of the company to offer a robust service platform for users and service-providers. Miss Aishwarya Swaminathan and Miss. Subhiksha Venkat were awarded prizes for their winning entries. Mrs. Gunavathy and Mr. Karthik Pasupathy also won prizes for the events that were conducted.
All-in-all it was a wonderful experience for the bloggers and a great way for UrbanClap to connect with the city's leading bloggers as well.
