•To inaugurate Sathya Sai Ghat on the bank of River Ganga at Rishikesh by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Sri Harish Rawat on September 10, 2016
•Launch  a first of its kind in the region, Sri Sathya Sai Vedic Learning Centre & Library for the students in the north of India providing opportunity to learn VEDAS FREE OF COST based on the teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba – on September 11,2016
•Launch of Sri Sathya Sai Naam Sankeertan Sammelan – a yearly music festival promoting the young generation musicians at Sri Sathya Sai Ghat.

Chandigarh, 6th September 2016 –
The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations India (SSSSO India) – a multi cultural international spiritual service organisation from Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh today announced three initiatives in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. During a 3 Day period in Rishikesh to be organised between 9 – 11 September 2016, the organisation will launch three initiatives aimed at benefiting the people with much needed facilities.

September 10, 2016:
The SSSS Organisation India will inaugurate Sri Sathya Sai Ghat on the banks of river Ganga in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand on 10th September 2016. The Ghat will greatly help the pilgrims and tourists have a safe and hygiene access to take a dip in the Ganges. Typically, the region is witness to more than 10 Lakh pilgrims and tourists and the numbers increase during the peak period of mid September to May every year.

Sri Sathya Sai Naam Sankeertan Sammelan – a yearly music festival promoting the young generation musicians at Sri Sathya Sai Ghat will also be launched on 10th September 2016. A special devotional concert will be held by Bhajan Samrat Sri Anoop Jalota and Prashanti Bhajan troupe


September 11, 2016:

The Sri Sathya Sai Vedic Learning Centre & Library will be inaugurated on 11th September 2016 and will be housed in an area of 2500 Sq ft. The learning center is open for all and can be accessed by residents, students, tourists etc for their reading / learning requirements.  The library is equipped with books and reference material across several fields and provides access to ancient vedic learning FREE OF COST based on the principles and teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. 

Commenting on the new initiatives undertaken Mr. Nimish Pandya , All India President, SSSSO India said, “In addition to various activities which the organization has been doing for decades, ranging from free education to rescue missions and free medical treatment to diverse community service, today’s initiatives are aimed at improving the physical infrastructure , hygiene and safety for pilgrims and tourists  and provide infrastructure for improved learning condition for students and other tourists.”

SSSSO India in the last 30 years has so far reached out to 15 lakh students across the country from Sathya Sai schools and also has a reach to about 50 lakh students through the Balvikas program based on the teachings principles of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai. The organization has been working to empower the youth by connecting them to the eminent experts through its Youth events across the country. The organization has a strong support of over 6 lakh sevadal which include people aged between 18 to 65 years. These volunteers have been playing a significant role in providing various community services and rescue mission all across India under the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations India.
