Bengaluru 3rd September 2016 : All India Marwari Yuva Manch today organized Cancer awareness rally from Minerva Circle to town hall . The rally was flagged off By Mr. PC Moha , Honorable Member of Parliament, Bangalore Central. The rally was organized to draw the attention of the public to the ill-effects of smoking, chewing tobacco and pan masala products.
More the 300 hundred people participated in this rally. The purpose of the rally is to reach out to as many people and their families as possible, in different socio-economic sections of society and persuade them to go in for regular screening.
Bangalore®, Jagriti, Stars, Bangalore Central, Udaan, also participated in this cancer awareness rally. They also distributed pamphlets contain messages the called for cancer prevention.
This Cancer Detection & Awareness Program Camp - ' Mission Cancer Jagriti in Karnataka' will cover approximately all districts in Karnataka and thus will enable to reach people and making them aware that CANCER is preventable. During these camps, the people will be screened for cancer & motivate to adopt healthy lifestyle and QUIT SMOKING & TOBACCO for SAVING LIFE FROM CANCER.
