Mumbai, 19th September 2016: Liebherr, one of the largest and leading construction machine manufacturers, which is also known for refrigeration and cooling appliances in the world, today, launched its first ever Experience Center in Mumbai, opening up their exclusive range of freestanding premium refrigerator models to the Indian consumer. The first of its kind showroom houses cooling appliances built on Liebherr’s world-class standards with a key focus on innovation, allowing customers to get a first-hand experience of the integrated high-end features that are intrinsic to Liebherr branded appliances. To begin with, the Experience Center will showcase cooling and freezing combinations of products, side-by-side appliances, built-in appliances as well as wine cabinets.

Comprising over 130 companies in more than 50 countries, the Liebherr group is going to invest Rs.500 crore for setting up a production plant in Aurangabad. With the aim to produce high-end refrigeration appliances tailored to suit the Indian market, the company looks ahead to manufacturing 500,000 cooling appliances a year starting 2018.

Guenther Sproll International Head of Marketing

Guenther Sproll started his career at Liebherr in 1982 and was a part of the Liebherr-Holding team till 1996 after which he has been the International Head of Marketing.

At the Liebherr Group Guenther has proven to be an integral part of the core team. He has seen the company grow from one country to another and has been a catalyst of growth for Liebherr in this regard.

Roman Schäfer Business Development

Roman Schäfer started his career at Liebherr as the Head of Sales Commercial Customers in Germany in 2003, progressing to the Head of Sales Trade Germany and Business Development in his 13+ year’s tenure. Roman has also traveled from Germany to Singapore for Liebherr to fulfill his duties as the General Manager of Asia-Pacific region between 2010 and 2015.

Roman has been an integral part of the process, a visionary and therefore an essential factor for the growth of the company.
