The team at Hairline International Hair & Skin Clinic said that such events were a wonderful opportunity and a perfect time to demonstrate social responsibility and serve society.  Speaking on the occasion Bani Anand, promoter and director of Hairline International Hair & Skin Clinics said, "This event is part of our corporate social responsibility and is our gesture of giving back to society.  It is indeed a special initiative by us considering it is such a formidable task for a visually challenged person to take adequate care of their skin and hair”

Backed by their team of highly qualified and experienced dermatologists and trichologists, the camp provided a thorough and holistic consultation with regard to nutrition, skin and hair care for the patients.

Tests like blood sugar levels (RBS) and blood group determination for the patients were conducted by Hairline’s in house diagnostic expert Bioterra diagnostics.  In order to address nutritional deficiency issues, multi vitamin tablets were also distributed as part of the programme.  Adequate consultation and treatment was also offered for hair and skin problems including pimples, scars, dandruff and other nutritional issues.

With this event, Hairline International Hair & Skin Clinic expects to create more awareness and instill a sense of well being and confidence amongst the visually challenged who generally tend to neglect such aspects of their overall health.

“The number of people reporting issues related to skin and hair is increasing over the years.  Moreover, taking care of one’s hair and skin for a visually challenged person is definitely an arduous task and therefore highly neglected. Camps like this definitely help in spreading awareness and help people to be more proactive” said Dr. Imtiyaz of Hairline International Hair & Skin Clinics

Dr. P.K. Paul founder and executive trustee of IDL foundation said that. " The Visually impaired are mostly restricted in the four walls of the room. Such kind of camps brings a lot of benefits to them. He further added, saying we would definitely like to organize more such camps.

The first part of the day saw yoga sessions by the foundation after which the day was reserved for the camp by Hairline International Hair & Skin Clinics.
