~The hotel hosted a lunch for 200 teachers who mentor underprivileged children of the society~
Mumbai, 6 September 2016: Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai’s beloved property which is a blend of rich luxury and warm hospitality celebrated Teachers Day by hosting a lunch for 200 teachers with Aseema Charitable Trust on 4th September 2016 as a part of their CSR activity.
Aseema Charitable Trust, a charitable institution that offers education to underprivileged children. Founded by Dilbur Parekh, Neela Kapadia and Snehal Paranjape, the institution reaches out to about 4000 underprivileged children offering them educational support. Teacher’s day is a celebration for encouraging the contribution of teachers towards the society and Hotel Sahara Star took this opportunity to appreciate their honourable efforts and selfless work towards the betterment of our nation.
The chefs cooked up a delectable menu for this special occasion filled with a variety of dishes, deserts and beverages. The lunch was followed by a DJ and a fun filled photoshoot and activities such as Housie among many others for the teachers to unwind and relax on their given day.
